Most Common Mistakes 1

One of the most common mistakes: Pronunciation.
  • "You" pronunciation: some students pronounce "you" like "YU" when is /ju:/.
  • "th" [/θ/] pronunciation: like catholic or thin, people pronounce those words with mute H.
  • Pronunciation in the word "first"[/fɜ:rst /]: Students pronounce the i like in "it" [/I/] and you must pronounce it if the -i were an -e [/ɜ/].
  • Words like study, students or school, people some times said it with an e- in front of the whole word an it sounds like "eschool, estudy or estudents".
