- Students tend to confuse verb tenses.
- People also mixed up the use of gerunds and infinitives.
- Conditionals some times tend to get confuse.
- When students are talking in past, most of the time use verbs in present.

- People sometimes do not capitalize the pronoun I.
- Also in some cases students do not respect some punctuation marks.
- Prepositions: a lot of people confuse the uses of the in/on prepositions.

One of the most common mistakes: Pronunciation.
- "You" pronunciation: some students pronounce "you" like "YU" when is /ju:/.
- "th" [/θ/] pronunciation: like catholic or thin, people pronounce those words with mute H.
- Pronunciation in the word "first"[/fɜ:rst /]: Students pronounce the i like in "it" [/I/] and you must pronounce it if the -i were an -e [/ɜ/].
- Words like study, students or school, people some times said it with an e- in front of the whole word an it sounds like "eschool, estudy or estudents".
